The following essay recalls the leftist British photography magazine: Camerawork. Produced by the Half Moon Photogaphy Workshop in East London during the 1970s and 80s, Camerawork has today become a central point pertaining to re-examining the importance of British documentary photography. The essay is a central element to this new research.
